DESTINY Drummer To Play On HAMMERFALL Bassist's New Solo Album

December 21, 2006

DESTINY's Birger Löfman has been tapped to play drums on HAMMERFALL bassist Magnus Rosén's new solo album. Starting on December 20 and finishing on December 22, Löfman is laying down the drums on eleven tracks together with Magnus Rosén for Magnus' forthcoming fifth solo CD. The recordings are taking place at the Los Angered Recording studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, and are being engineered by KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque. According to a press release, the music will be "funky/rocky in straight and odd time signatures." Birger's job during the rehearsals has been to come up with interesting rhythms to fit Magnus' bass pieces. The dynamic duo will have a number of musicians guesting on the record, which is tentatively due late spring 2007.
